Special lecture on the occasion of 124th birth anniversary of A N Murthy Rao
A. N. Murthy Rao, a prominent Kannadiga scholar, born on June 18, 1900, in Akkihebbal, was renowned for his book "Devaru" and other literary works. He served in various academic and cultural roles, including at Mysore University, All India Radio, and as President of Kannada Sahitya Parishat. He received numerous awards, including the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award and Sahitya Akademi Award. Rao passed away on August 23, 2003, at 104 years old.
