Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence

Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE) is a Private University established under Karnataka State Act 17 of 2018.

Admissions to Postgraduate programmes of SSSUHE are now OPEN for the academic year 2025-26. The University offers Master of Science (MSc) and Master of Arts (MA) programmes.

Being a residential system of education, all the University students are required to stay in the designated hostels mandatorily. The medium of instruction in the University is English.

Fee Structure

The education provided in SSSUHE is completely free of cost such as boarding, lodging, maintenance etc.

Service Commitment

All the students who take admission in the University have to compulsorily serve in any of the free educational institutions established by the University’s Sponsoring Body Prashanthi Balamandira Trust or its allied trusts or foundations, as may be posted or transferred by the University at its complete discretion for a period of as many number of years as the course studied by the student in the University.

Basic Criteria for Applying

10 years of Schooling with 2 years of Pre-University / Intermediate education
Three years of University education with minimum of 50% marks in English and at least 55% aggregate marks in the main subject disciplines in their Undergraduate examination are eligible to apply

Following are the available subjects for admission into MA and MSc Programmes for the year 2025-26.

History	Graduates with BA degree with History as one of the major disciplines, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 55% in History.
Economics	Graduate with BA degree with Economics as one of the major disciplines, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 55% in Economics.
English	BA / BSc Graduates with English as 1st or 2nd language.
Sanskrit	BA / BSc Graduates with Sanskrit as 1st or 2nd language.
Kannada	BA / BSc Graduates with Kannada as 1st or 2nd language.
Vedic Studies	BA with Vedic Studies as their major discipline.
Carnatic Vocal	Under Graduation in Carnatic Vocal
Hindustani Vocal	Under Graduation in Hindustani Vocal
Mridangam	Under Graduation in Mridangam

Master of Science	Additional Eligibility
Mathematics	Graduates with BSc degree with Mathematics as one of the major disciplines, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 55% in Mathematics.
Physics	Graduates with BSc degree with Physics as one of the major disciplines, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 55% in Physics.
Chemistry	Graduates with BSc degree with Chemistry as one of the major disciplines, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 55% in Chemistry
Life Sciences	Graduates with BSc degree with any branch of Biological Sciences, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 55% in Biological Sciences.
Computer Science	Graduates with BSc degree with Computer Science as one of the major disciplines, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 55% in Computer Science

Note:

Applicants/parents/guardians must have active personal email IDs. This is essential, as all correspondence from the university will be sent via email only.

Admission Process

The online application form must be completed accurately, and the required documents should be uploaded as specified with self-attestation and submitted on or before 21^st June 2025, via the link below.
Incomplete forms will be rejected
Eligible applicants will be notified to attend the entrance examination once the completed online application forms and necessary supporting documents have been received.
Admission selection will be based on a personal interview of eligible candidates.
