24 January 2024

Sri Madhusudan Sai's mission in education aligns seamlessly with the ideals celebrated on the International Day of Education, observed annually on January 24th. Designated by the United Nations General Assembly, this day honours the pivotal role of education in fostering peace and development.

Committed to providing free, values-based education from grade six to research level, Sri Madhusudan Sai operates 28 campuses with a student body of 5000, 75% of whom hail from rural areas. The organisation is actively addressing the imperative of making education accessible to all, particularly those in underserved communities.

The essence of the International Day of Education resonates with the belief that education is a fundamental human right, a public good, and a shared responsibility. Through the provision of free education and outreach to rural communities, Sri Madhusudan Sai is actively contributing to breaking the cycle of poverty and addressing the violation of the right to education for millions of children and youth. In doing so, the mission emerges as a crucial player in the global effort to achieve gender equality and ensure that no one is left behind in the pursuit of education and a better future.
