The Department of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, School of Healthcare Science's inauguration officially happened on the eve of October 30th, 2022. The programs offered are Nursing & 5 sub-specialties in Allied Paramedical Sciences, viz. Anaesthesia Technology, OT Technology, Imaging Technology, Laboratory Technology, and Optometry. Dr. Kalangose inaugurated the courses officially by unveiling the plaque.
Dr. Kalangose is a Greek-Swiss Cardiovascular Surgeon. He is the Chairman of the Center for Congenital Heart and Tracheal Diseases in Athens, Greece. He and his wife Nataliia Kalangos arrived in India a few days back with the Global Outreach Team from Turkey, who operated on children with congenital heart disease in Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, Raipur.
