Bhoomi Pooja for New Skill Development Centre

The Bhoomi pooja was held for a new Skill Development Centre (SDC), envisioned to provide an alternative educational path. The SDC will offer a 2-year certificate course with 1-year internship, multi-skilling students in plumbing, piping ("flow piping"), and electrical technologies. Post completion, they are guaranteed jobs in the institution's repair and maintenance departments across the country and potentially worldwide. Besides vocational training, the curriculum will also include basic English, computers, and Vedic chanting.

Sri Madhusudan Sai emphasised restoring dignity to these students who may have slipped through cracks of the regular education system. He stressed that skilled vocations like electricians and plumbers are equally crucial for society's functioning, just like surgeons. The aim is to instil a sense of equal importance and dignity in all vocations.
