Introduction:
The all-staff meeting held on June 2nd, 2023 in Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli, aimed to provide important updates and foster discussion on various topics. The meeting was divided into two parts, addressing different aspects of the academic year and the requirements set by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).
Part 1: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM - NAAC Introduction and Discussion on Roadmap
During this session, newly recruited staff members were introduced to the NAAC and its significance. Mr. Veda Datta provided a brief introduction to the NAAC, explaining our current requirements and the roadmap to achieve accreditation. Existing criteria groups engaged in discussions regarding the NAAC roadmap specific to their respective criteria.
Part 2: 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM - General Meeting and VC's Address
The second session commenced with the introduction of newly joined staff, as well as non-teaching and administrative staff. Dr. D Hanumanth Rao Naidu, Registrar-in-Charge (Administration), delivered a PowerPoint presentation, guiding us through the University's Vision, Mission, Goals, and Culture.
Following this, Prof. Srikanta Murthy K, the Vice-Chancellor, addressed the entire staff, emphasizing the need to improve planning and execution in a systematic manner. He stressed the importance of discipline and commitment in fulfilling our roles and responsibilities. Other dignitaries present at the meeting were Prof. Thothathri Venugopal (Registrar - Evaluation), Dr. K P Sai Leela (Director - Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence, Nallakadirenahlli Girls Campus), and Smt. R Sivasankari (Finance Officer).
Conclusion:
The all-staff meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from Brother Sarma, expressing gratitude to all attendees. The meeting served as a platform to enhance understanding, align objectives, and foster a sense of unity among the staff members as they embarked on the upcoming academic year.
