It is the mission of the Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence, which was founded in Karnataka, to ensure that education enables each young learner to recognise and live in accordance with his or her true nature, thereby enabling effortless manifestation of "purity" in all of one's thoughts, words, and deeds. Expert educators and academics have committed their careers to improving humanity and guided all students along the way.
Tonight marked the first convocation ever for the University - a reason to celebrate, as the University sees its pride in the students who have completed their graduation and post-graduation, and are the exemplars of excellence. Through them, the message of the highest human excellence shall perpetuate for future generations.
The event was inaugurated by our chief guest, Adaraniya Sarsanghchalak Sri Mohan Ji Bhagwat, the sixth Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the highly esteemed organisation which promotes the ideals of upholding Indian culture and the values of civil society.
Excellence expressed through human character, comprising of competent hands, a constructive head and a compassionate heart is an inner process of believing in the infinite potential of one's True Self - the Divinity Itself.
Here are some highlights of the evening.
