Sri Adi Shankara Vedanta Shodha Kendra (SASVSK)

The Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence envisions providing quality education of global standards aimed at developing human beings steeped in Sanatana Dharma with compassionate hearts, brilliant intellects and competent hands to serve humanity.

To fulfil this vision, the university has established Sri Adi Shankara Vedanta Shodha Kendra (SASVSK) in its Muddenahalli campus. The principal activities of the Shodha Kendra will centre around the following:

Creating a portal for English translations of works on Advaita starting from the works of Sri Shankaracharya;
Initiating studies on relationship between Vedanta and science / technology / medicine and establishing collaboration with Institutes engaged in such studies;
Identification, Editing and Publication of Advaita manuscripts / books;
Recognising Vidwans who have studied Prasthanatraya Bhashya of Bhagavatpada Sri Shankaracharya completely / partially;
Arranging for completion of Prasthanatraya Bhashya for those who have studied partially;
Study and research in Shashtras related to Vedanta - Vyakarana, Nyaya, Sahitya, etc.;
Organising an annual International conference on Vedanta in Muddenahalli which will become a signature event in the World;
Establishing an exhaustive library of Advaita literature in various languages.
