On the 7th of March 2024, Thursday, the Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE) marked the celebration of Women's Day at the Theatre Hall, 4th Floor, Krupashraya. The event took place from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, featuring a significant initiative by the State Bank of India's CSR program – the distribution of laptops to girl students of SSSUHE.

The program commenced with a solemn Lamp Lighting Ceremony, accompanied by the melodious rendition of the ASATOMA SADGAMAYA PRAYER. Following this, Mr. Sunil Narang Ji delivered a welcome speech, providing insights into the distinguished guests and the overall program. The notable attendees included Mr. V N Sharma, the General Manager NW II of State Bank of India, Mr. Srinivas Gali, Deputy General Manager & Circle Development Officer of State Bank of India, Prof Dr. Srikanta Murthy K, Vice Chancellor of Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence, Dr. Hanumanth Rao Naidu, Registrar of Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence, and Mr. Sunil Narang, Trustee and Chief Functionary of Each One Educate One Foundation.

Sister Vineela presented a concise overview of the SSSUHE Education System, setting the stage for empowering women through education. Subsequently, a girl student shared her thoughts with impactful journey, shedding light on their experiences and aspirations.

The program continued with the screening of a video showcasing the Sadguru’s Global Humanitarian Mission initiative, emphasizing the organization's commitment to holistic education.

The pinnacle of the event was the distribution of laptops, worth of Rs 61,21,978. The laptops were generously provided as part of the CSR initiative by the State Bank of India.

Mr. V N Sharma, the General Manager NW II of State Bank of India, addressed the audience with an insightful speech, highlighting the bank's commitment to education and women's empowerment. This was followed by a speech from Prof Dr. Srikanta Murthy K, the Vice Chancellor, who shared his vision for the university and its role in shaping the future of young women.

The program concluded on a gratitude note with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Sis Vineela, expressing appreciation for the collaborative efforts of all involved in making the Women's Day celebration a meaningful and impactful event.
