2. Inauguration of SMSIMSR by PM Modi
On March 25, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, a one-of-its-kind free private medical college under Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence. This initiative was established by the Prashanthi Balamandira Trust. It was a euphoric moment for the University when the world's first completely free-of-charge medical college – Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research – was inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi, in March 2023.
