SSSUHE aims to provide larger holistic vision of the kind of research with prioritization of the research areas. The University awards the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations 2022. The award of degrees to candidates already registered in 2021 and pursuing Ph.D. shall also be governed by Regulations 2022.
The university offers admission into Ph.D. in the indicative areas of research “Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition, Speech Processing, Operations Research, Mathematical Modelling, Number Theory, Cryptography, Algebra, experimental Condensed Matter Physics, Nonlinear Plasmonics, Nonlinear Optics, Photonics, material sciences, Food Microbiology, Plant Physiology and Plant Biotechnology, Stress physiology, Plant tissue culture, Molecular finder printing and antioxidant studies, Vedas And Vedanta, Darshanam, Kavyam, Vyakaranam, Yoga, Mimamsa, Micro Economics, Agriculture and International Economics, English Literature, Kannada literature and drama, Indian Drama, Literary Criticism, Music, and Indian Culture”.
Admission into Ph.D. programme at the University will be considered twice a year, depending on the vacancies in the Departments of SSSUHE. Candidates interested to pursue Ph.D. at SSSUHE may contact dean.ric.office@sssuhe.ac.in
