Undergraduate (UG) Programmes

In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE) offers the following academic programmes. Most programmes are designed on a multidisciplinary framework combining two disciplines, enabling students to acquire integrated knowledge and skills across complementary fields of study.

School of Arts

The University offers the Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme in combinations of two disciplines drawn from Economics, Computer Application, English, History and Kannada. The BA in Vedic Studies is offered as a single-discipline programme rooted in India’s classical knowledge traditions.

School of Science

The Bachelor of Science (BSc) programme is offered in combinations of two disciplines from Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science and Economics. The BSc in Rural Engineering, and a Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports (BPES) for holistic physical and sporting development.

School of Fine Arts

The Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA) is offered as a specialised single-discipline programme, allowing students to master a chosen art form — namely Carnatic Vocal, Hindustani Vocal, Hindustani Flute, Bharatanatyam, Tabla or Mridangam.

School of Healthcare Science

The University offers the MBBS programme along with programmes in Nursing and Mental Health, and a suite of Allied Health Sciences programmes in Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Optometry, Cardiac Care Technology and Perfusion Technology.

 

Postgraduate (PG) Programmes

School of Arts

The Master of Arts (MA) programme is offered as a single-discipline specialisation in English, Kannada, History, Economics, Vocal/Instrument, Sanskrit and Vedic Studies.

School of Science

The Master of Science (MSc) programme is offered in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Life Science and Chemistry.

School of Healthcare Science

The University offers postgraduate medical programmes leading to MD and MS degrees across sixteen specialisations, including Anaesthesia, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, Microbiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Otorhinolaryngology, Paediatrics, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology and Radiology.

 

Postgraduate Diploma Programmes

The University offers Postgraduate Diploma programmes in Artificial Intelligence and NGO Management, catering to emerging professional and developmental needs.

 

Diploma Programmes

Diploma programmes are offered in Clinical Engineering, Integrated Agricultural Sciences, and in the performing arts — Carnatic Vocal, Hindustani Vocal, Sitar and Tabla.

 

Certificate Programmes

A Certificate programme in Skill Development is offered to enhance employability and practical competencies among learners.
