The 37th Inter-University National Youth Festival commenced with grandeur at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), embracing a tapestry of cultures, a spectrum of colors, and the exuberance of youthful enthusiasm. Nearly 2,500 students from 118 universities across India have converged for this five-day extravaganza, orchestrated under the auspices of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

Crafted under the thematic umbrella 'HUNAR 2024 – Harvesting National Talent,' the cultural parade showcased and celebrated the ethos of 'Unity in Diversity' in its fullest essence. Bedecked in their traditional and regional attire, student contingents paraded from Thapar Hall to the Dr. AS Khera Open Air Theatre, pulsating to the rhythm of the dhol, unleashing their inner dynamism, and advocating for youth empowerment. The release of vibrant balloons heralded the commencement of the procession, drawing throngs of spectators lining the routes leading to the Open-Air Theatre at PAU.

Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence proudly represented at the National level, with following participants competing in five categories:

  •  Western Instrumental Solo: Sai Shankar S A, 4th Year BPA (Carnatic Vocal)

  • Classical Vocal Solo: Jeevan Sai P, 4th Year BPA (Carnatic Vocal)

  • Classical Dance (Indian): Myatar Sneha, 4th Year BPA (Bharatanatyam)

  • Elocution: Sai Harikesh, 1st Year BSc (Maths, Physics)

  • Group Song: (BPA Carnatic Vocal Students)

Singers: Jeevan Sai P, Rahul Shivabodh P, Sai Adithya K, Abhay Sai K, Om Sai Pradhan, Ananda Sai K

Accompanists: Sai Shankar S A - Keyboard, Kishor S - Tabla, Samarth Kulkarni - Dholak and Rhythm Pads

Achievements by Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence:

The University showcased exemplary talent, securing top honors in all five categories in which it participated in the AIU National’s Event.
