Kavita Gopal is the Managing Director and Head of Commercial Banking GCCs in India and the Philippines at JPMC, where she has worked for 15 years. She oversees Global Banking Operations, as well as Digital, Data, and Product teams at the Corporate Centres in Bengaluru and Manila and is the Location Leader for the Bengaluru Hub. With 27 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services, including previous roles at Dell Global Financial Services and Standard Chartered Bank, Kavita has extensive expertise in operations, credit, risk, and client experience.
Kavita is actively involved in several Business Resource Groups, including PRIDE and Women on the Move, and is the Executive Sponsor for the PRIDE BRG in India. She is passionate about the development of women in the workplace, leading the CBLeanIn initiative globally. Kavita holds a Master’s degree in Physiology from Bangalore University and an Executive Management degree from IIM Bangalore. Her personal interests include fitness, rescuing abandoned dogs, travel, music, and she is a trained Indian classical vocalist.
