27 and 28 March 2026

We are immensely proud to announce that our undergraduate students have made a remarkable mark on the International research stage.

At the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗜𝗥𝗖𝗕𝗗𝗔𝗩 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲) in Thane organised by St. Wilfred's College of Computer Sciences — two teams from our B.Sc Computational Science department presented their innovative work in AI-driven healthcare.

The Highlights:

🥇 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱: Awarded to 𝗦𝗮𝗶 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗵𝗮𝗿 (3rd B.Sc.Comp Sci) guided by Dr. Sathyanarayanan S (Associate Professor) and 𝗦𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘀 (Research Scholar) for their paper: "𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑲𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒓: 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑴𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑬𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒚 𝑯𝒚𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑫𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏."

📜 International Presentation: Also 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗸 𝗪𝗮𝗴𝗵𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲 and 𝗦𝘂𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶, both final-year students (3rd B.Sc. Comp Sci), successfully presented their research on "𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: 𝑨𝒏 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑨𝑰 𝑨𝒑𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉"

This is a significant milestone—the first time students from our Kalaburagi campus have presented and won at an international conference. It reflects our commitment to blending academic excellence with societal benefit.

Kudos to the Department of Computational Science for their stellar mentorship! Providing early global exposure to our students remains a core mission of our University.
