The eighth edition of the Sri Sathya Sai Award for Human Excellence, an initiative of the Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence, founded by Global Humanitarian and Spiritual Leader Sri Madhusudan Sai, was held on November 23, 2024, at Sathya Sai Grama. The event celebrated the 99th birth anniversary of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and recognized individuals who embodied the values of selfless service and excellence.
Our Chief Guest, Sri A Balasubramaniam of the Aditya Birla Group, graced the occasion. The Chancellor of the Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence, Mr B.N. Narasimha Murthy, delivered an introductory speech emphasizing the essence of selfless love as taught by Bhagawan Baba.
The ceremony recognized awardees for their impactful work, with heartfelt gratitude expressed towards patrons and supporters. The event concluded with the national anthem, reinforcing the spirit of unity and service inspired by Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

The jury for the awards comprised renowned experts and luminaries, including Prof. J.S. Rajput, Dr. J. Shashidhara Prasad, Dr. Shiv Kumar Sarin, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Mrs. Sudha Ragunathan, and Dr. Sunil Gavaskar.
