On the 23rd of November 2022, the Sri Sathya Sai Award for Human Excellence presented by Sri Sathya Sai University For Human Excellence was conferred upon seven women who have gone beyond their call of duty to serve humanity. These women symbolize the true meaning of Fraternity - assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and #integrity of the #nation' as mentioned in the #preamble.
Instituted ever since the year 2016 to honor and celebrate individuals who lead a life of service and sacrifice, the Sri Sathya Sai Award for Human Excellence is awarded in various fields of social relevance such as – Education, Health, Environment, Women, and ChildWelfare, Unity of Religions, Music and FineArts, and Yoga and Sports.
A distinguished jury panel deliberates and chooses the awardees yearly based on a selected theme. This year the theme was Celebrating Shakti - Women of Excellence!
The occasion was graced by the presence of -
Chief Guest - Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan - Hon'ble Governor of #Telangana, and the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry
Guest of Honour - Mrs. Neerja Birla - Founder and Chairperson of Mpower - An Initiative Of Aditya Birla Education Trust
Our Founder - Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai
Dr. K Sudhakar, Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education, Gov of Karnataka, was also present during the occasion.
