09 February 2025, Sathya Sai Grama

The Annual Sports and Cultural Meet 2025 of the Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Gurukulum Group of Institutions took place on February 9, 2025, at the Sai Krishnan Cricket Stadium in Muddenahalli, Karnataka. Students from 28 campuses participated, showcasing their physical and cultural talents. The event focused on holistic education, emphasizing teamwork, resilience, and self-confidence.

The students performed march-pasts, acrobatics, and cultural displays. The Bijapur campus excelled in the march-past, earning praise from Sri Madhusudan Sai. The Lion Dance performance, with an innovative Blue Lion exit, captivated the audience. A remarkable moment occurred when a student climbed the aerial grid alone to unfurl the "Be Divine" banner, demonstrating determination.

The event highlighted discipline, teamwork, and resilience. The Valedictory Session featured Dr. Gangadharaiah Parameshwara, Karnataka’s Minister of Home Affairs, who praised India’s educational progress and the institution’s service-based education. He also pledged support for the Annapoorna Nutrition Programme.

In his address, Sri Madhusudan Sai emphasized holistic education, drawing inspiration from the gurukulum system. He outlined four key pillars: knowledge, skills, goodness, and service. He honored a student for his courageous act on the aerial grid and encouraged students to carry forward self-discipline and teamwork in life.

The event concluded with students returning to their campuses, not just with awards but with a renewed commitment to excellence, service, and spiritual growth.
