Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence, SSSUHE which was established by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai at Kalaburagi, Karnataka. It is a State Private University established in 2019 under an Act of Karnataka State Assembly.
The vision of the University is to transform the lives of many students by imparting true education based on the foundation of spirituality, its curriculum is centred around bringing forth the best in every student by giving them a plethora of subject streams to choose from, apart from Arts and Sciences, like Vedic Studies, Performing Arts, Medicine, Agriculture, Mental Health, Physical Education and Sports. The pedagogy is based on values and inculcating a sense of service-mindedness with which the knowledge and skills gained will be put to use. The purpose is two-pronged and interconnected – ātmano mokśārtham jagat hitāya ca – Realisation of the Self and Welfare of the World. The operation on a day-to-day basis is based on mutual harmony, co-operation and unity to attain this singular goal, without consideration of any selfish interests.
The University provides, quality higher education of global standards in order to develop excellent human resources with brilliant intellects, compassionate hearts and competent hands to contribute effectively to humanity. On 25 March 2023, the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi inaugurated Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, in the presence of the Founder of the Institute – Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai. This is one-of-its-kind totally free private medical college established by the Prashanthi Balamandira Trust, and comes under the School of Healthcare Sciences of the Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence
The SSSUHE recently held its Second Convocation at Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli. The event was graced by the presence of Smt. Droupadi Murmu, the President of India, and Sri Madhusudan Sai, the University Founder, along with several other dignitaries. The convocation was a grand celebration, showcasing the university’s divine orchestration from its inception to its day-to-day operations.
10 July 2023, Dubai 20th Edition of Asia-Africa Business & Social Forum 2023 by Asia One, Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence is recognised as Greatest Brand 2023. AsiaOne is an international business magazine which does research-based listing and features exemplary brands and leaders. It is an intellectual property of URS Media Consulting PL, where winners are determined based on the jury votes and consumer survey.
