𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟱

Under SSSUHE Vision 2035, Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE) has constituted a dedicated 𝗦𝘂𝗯-𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to design robust and credible certification pathways that recognise farmers’ knowledge, skills, and lived expertise.

Led by Mr. Anil Jauhri (Ex- CEO, NABCB) and Dr. Debjani Roy (Assessor and Trainer, ISO Certification) the Sub-Committee brings together eminent experts from academia, certification bodies, and the agri-sector. The team is currently engaged in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supporting documentation aligned with national quality and skill frameworks.

The first series of meetings, held from 12–14 January, involved in-depth deliberations that shaped the initial draft of the Farmer Certification Framework—marking a significant step towards creating an inclusive, scalable, and nationally relevant model for farmer certification.

SSSUHE aims to finalise the draft by February, after which it will be placed in the public domain to invite stakeholder inputs, reflecting the University’s commitment to transparency, collaboration, and societal engagement.

Guided by Sadguru Sri Sri Madhusudan Sai Sai, Founder Chancellor of Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence, and under the leadership of Prof.Rajasekharan Pillai V N, Chairman – Vision 2035 Committee, this initiative reinforces SSSUHE’s mission of empowering rural communities through education that blends tradition, innovation, and human values.
