A 'Global Conference on Vedic Ideas for a Better Society’ was organised by the Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE) in conjunction with Vedic Vigyan Kendra of Banaras Hindu University, Maharishi European Research University (MERU), Netherlands, with the support of the Ministry of AYUSH.
Encapsulating the essence of the deep spiritual experience of ancient sages, the vedas are the heart and soul of Indian culture. Exploring the realms of vedic thought offers an insight into living a holistic lifestyle that takes care of our inner and outer sanctuaries of existence. The two-day Conference assembled a panel of experts and academicians in the field of vedic sciences and research to discover those vedic thoughts that have gone unnoticed, and relating to the contemporary needs of the society. About 14 speakers from India and overseas shared their knowledge and came up with practical ideas from vedas to create a better society.
