Undergraduate Admissions

Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence (SSSUHE) is a State Private University established under Karnataka State Act 17 of 2018.

Admission to Undergraduate programmes of SSSUHE is now OPEN for the academic year 2024-25.

The University offers a range of programmes, Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA) and Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports (BPES).

The education provided by SSSUHE is completely free of charge including food, accommodation, maintenance. As part of the residential education system, all university students are required to stay in designated hostels as it is mandatory. The medium of instruction at the University is English.

All students who take admission in the University have to compulsorily serve in any of the free educational institutions or established by Prashanthi Balamandira Trust or sponsoring body, allied trust institutions or foundations as may be posted or transferred by the University as its complete discretion in total for such period equal to such number of years the course student has studied in the University.

Basic Criteria for Applying BA & BSc

10 years of Schooling with 2 years of Pre-University/ Intermediate education.

Applicants who have achieved a minimum score of 50% in English and a minimum average score of 55% in all subject disciplines in their PUC or 11th and 12th class exams of equivalent boards are eligible to apply.

In line with NEP-2020 being implemented at the SSSUHE, the applicants can choose any TWO disciplines from science, arts and language group to pursue their Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts.

* Science disciplines can be opted if that discipline is studied in PU or 12th.

** To choose Computer Science as a Discipline in Undergraduate, the student must have studied Physics or Mathematics in his/her PU or 12th.

*** Only one language can be chosen as one of the two disciplines of choice. 

Basic Criteria for Applying BPA

• 10+2 would be minimum qualification.

• The applicants should have received basic training in music.

•  A panel of eminent scholars will conduct a performance test for the applied courses among the applicants.

The specialisations offered in the BPA programme are as following:

• 10+2 would be minimum qualification.

• The applicants should have good performance record in Sports and Games for BPES.

• The applicants would undergo a practical test before a panel of eminent judges.

Basic Criteria for Applying BA Vedic Studies:

• 10+2 would be minimum qualification.

• The applicant must possess Sanskrit as their language of choice up to Class 10th or PU/10+2.

Important Dates:

* Practical tests applicable only for BPA & BPPS candidates.

** Applicants selected for the personal interview will be informed directly via their registered email and/or mobile phone.

•   The written exams will be conducted at the University campus at Muddenahalli and Kalaburagi.

•   The interview will be conducted at the University campus at Muddenahalli.

• Applicants/parents/guardians must have active personal email IDs. This is essential as all correspondence from the University will be sent via email only.

• Request for admission form should be sent via email to admissions@sssuhe.ac.in

Admission Process:

• Application form along with the details of the Entrance Exam will be sent only after a formal request from the candidate is made over email, as mentioned above.

• Duly completed form with necessary documents must be scanned and sent on or before 30th April 2024 through email to  admissions@sssuhe.ac.in

• Incomplete forms will be rejected.

• The applicant must enclose a self-attested copy of all the required documents mentioned in the application form.

• Eligible applicants will be called for entrance exam upon the reception of the completed forms and necessary supporting documents.

• Admission selection will be based on the personal interview of eligible candidates.

• The filled-in form must be sent via Speed Post/Registered Post to the following address in an envelope (A4 size or bigger). Mailing via private couriers will be not be accepted.
