EXCHANGE OF MoU BETWEEN SRI SATHYA SAI UNIVERSITY FOR HUMAN EXCELLENCE AND KALAKSHETRA FOUNDATION
The Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence is collaborating with Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai and the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was exchanged.
Kalakshetra is the center for artistic endeavor founded in 1936 by the vibrant visionary Rukmini Devi Arundale.
The Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence will extend scholarships annually to deserving students at Kalakshetra from needy and underprivileged backgrounds who would like to take up Dance, Music and Visual Arts full time. The scholarship awards will be given to students of high merit with consistent good academic performance who display passion and promise to learn and excel beyond the boundaries of the curriculum in the Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts at the Kalakshetra Foundation.
The Kalakshetra Foundation will extend its support to our Bachelor of Arts (Nritya) students from the University by conducting workshops thrice a year at the Kalakshetra campus in Chennai and will assist with expert knowledge in Dance through its faculty.
