Message from the Leadership

Sri B N Narsimha Murthy

B N Narasimha Murthy
Chancellor of Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence

“Understanding the true significance of humanness makes one a true leader. By providing a transformative experience through the body, mind and soul, students will be nurtured here at the Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence as self-reliant and courageous men and women, prepared for leadership and supreme sacrifice for the well-being of the society, leaving an indelible mark on their lives”.

Dr A R Manjunath
Pro Chancellor of Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence

“Atma Vidya or Spiritual Education is the basis of all education, and hence it forms the foundation of the Sri Sathya Sai Educational System. In the current scenario, education without a spiritual base is causing great harm to society. Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence intends to rectify this deficiency, by ensuring cultivation of knowledge with wisdom, and competence with values of morality and right conduct”.

Prof P D N Srinivasu
Vice Chancellor of Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence

“Indian culture is the very backbone of our life. Culture promotes refinement of one’s character. In the words of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Culture is Samskara which consists of Sadguna (good character), Sadachara (good behavior) and Sadbhavana (good feelings). For a person to be deemed educated, his personal and social behaviour should be good. An educated person should have concern for the welfare of all beings – Sarva Bhutha Hite Ratah. Therefore, we should promote education with culture, which alone would result in creating selfless leaders with cultivated intellect, compassionate heart and competent hands. This is the goal of our University.”

Dr Hanumanth Rao Naidu
Registrar of Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence

“‘Think Global, Act Local’, says Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The problems of the globe are rooted in rampant selfishness. This University in its womb will foster, nurture and protect the much needed selflessness. Setting itself as an example in this regard and akin to a true ancient Gurukula system, it would charge nothing whatsoever, rather, through its transformative values based education, it would charge up the pupil to tread the path of sacrifice to serve society selflessly.”
